THE NEW BIG DADDY OF THE RCMAX FAMILY
A couple of months ago we showed a teaser that a new monster engine was coming, well we certainly didnt expect to end up going this deep but the results speak for themselves.
Please welcome, the RCMAX 90 GT.
After a painful amount of prototyping and development, we decided that to offer you the biggest, baddest and best big bore RC engine, we were going to have to do a little more than reach out to an even bigger Scooter cylinder. The 100cc prototypes were a bit too heavy and produced too much vibration to be proud of.
So back to the drawing board, a new crankcase was born, with a central trench to house a new insane 45mm balanced crankshaft! Combine this new long-stroke foundation with a customized 50mm Cylinder, featuring a massive Bridged Exhaust port, 6 transfers and a lightened single ring racing piston. We started making monster gains and still able to turn near 16,000 RPM on this big ol girl.
To get the Brutal torque of this beast into the drivetrain, we have come up with a new 69mm clutch, sticking firm to our belief that simplicity is vital, this is a two shoe, single super-alloy spring clutch. The Engagement will be set from factory to suit the engine, no messing with adjustment.
Finally the RCMAX 90 is only 145 grams heavier than the RCMAX 71, mainly gained through the larger clutch components. As you can see from the photos, we have stuck to the stunning 5-axis machining that RCMAX is famous for.

A limited batch of 10 engines will be ready to ship in around 4-6 weeks.
